Overview
thinkMolecular Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a molecular simulations company working in the space of new drug discovery. Their AI & ML augumented simulations enrich the traditional drug discovery. They enable experimentalists and help me more out of data. Sometimes it's better to show rather than tell. So they decided to design a new digital platform that could respond to user needs and behavior. After an exhaustive research for the right partner, they chose us for their new website design.
Challenge
Initially, we spent our time learning with their offerings and conducting audits. Starting with an understanding of the current state of their product offerings laid the foundation needed to create a successful consolidation strategy. The challenge we had to tackle during this project was how to organize the overwhelming amount of content and the images defining the information architecture and website structure was the first thing we focused on after completing our deep discovery. Creating and iterating on a sitemap helped our team understand what the structure of the new site would be
Solution
With the UX strategy firmly in place, we started designing the site. The client didn’t provide us with any style guide, but just pointed us in the right direction by providing their brand colors and fonts. Using their color palette as a reference, we built out an entire visual library to use across the site which includes design fonts, imagery styles and custom icons. To empower the client to self-manage the site in future we have implemented CMS. Using that they can modify and adapt the site as the business continues to change and grow. After design and development, we spent a great deal of timing in testing to be confident with the site free of bugs. Once we are confident we have successfully launched the website.
